The European Commission refuses to attend sessions to debate their ChatControl proposal. How very democratic.
Are we heading towards a Chinese-style internet in the EU? What will happen when environmental activists have their communications monitored under the guise of these laws, for example? What will happen to LGBTQA+ people and opposition parties when Viktor Orban's Fidesz party in Hungary will be able to monitor and target their private communications? Is anyone even considering the implications?

@joao @per_sonne the thing is that if this is approved, all apps/platforms must implement this or be illegal in Europe.
