So what do you folks think about the #ZenBrowser? How does it compare to #LibreWolf? I don't like the #Vivaldi vibe (parti pris I guess).
@villares I've migrated back to zen this week, since the one thing keeping me on arc is the tab folders. zen is pretty close to shipping that, and that's a deal breaker in my opinion.
I personally don't see much advantage on using librewolf over zen. you have mostly everything from librewolf privacy-wise, and other tweaks can be added via extensions.
@lucianoratamero @villares I've been eavesdropping on this conversation and just installed Zen. I tried LibreWolf a while back and jumped ship. Zen looks pretty neat though. I'll give it a spin for a while. Thanks for mentioning it.
@bit101 @villares no worries! also, if having tab groups/folders is something useful to you (I can't live without them), you should follow this issue on github:
https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/pull/7359
Completely different project. #Librewolf is vanilla #Firefox with #privacy hardening through a custom default config.
#Zen has no major privacy hardening, but a ton of custom UI elements and a new extension system for UI additions. Or does it? I havent seen much
Zen can be used with #Arkenfox user.js though, which I would recommend, after changing some defaults
@villares I love the UI of Zen. Some websites don't work, I don't know why tho.
